The full-time Business Development & B2B Marketing Manager will be instrumental in driving RecycleSmart's commercial growth across Queensland. This is a key leadership role focused on identifying and securing new B2B partnerships, developing high-impact marketing strategies, and expanding our footprint within the sustainability sector. You will leverage your expertise in strategic marketing and business development to position RecycleSmart as the partner of choice for councils, businesses, and institutions seeking smart recycling solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic B2B marketing and business development plans aligned with RecycleSmart's mission and revenue goals.
- Identify, target, and nurture relationships with potential B2B clients including local councils, commercial enterprises, property managers, and industry groups.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, customer pain points, and new market segments.
- Design and manage lead generation campaigns, content strategies, and sales enablement tools that drive pipeline growth.
- Collaborate with the product and operations teams to shape service offerings that meet business customer needs.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies, proposals, and tailored pitches for prospective partners and clients.
- Represent RecycleSmart at industry events, networking functions, and sustainability forums to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
- Oversee development of branded marketing assets, presentations, and case studies tailored to B2B audiences.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to marketing performance, sales pipeline, and client acquisition.
- Manage the full business development lifecycle from prospecting to closing and onboarding new clients.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Experience in B2B business development or marketing, ideally in the environmental services, sustainability, or tech sectors.
- Proven track record of generating and converting leads into long-term business relationships.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with CRM platforms, B2B marketing automation tools, and digital marketing best practices.
- Demonstrated passion for sustainability and the circular economy
Salary: $75k - $85K + Superannuation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
