Pastry Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and other products.
  • Follow recipes with attention to detail to ensure consistency in quality and flavor.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe kitchen environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and ensure the proper handling of ingredients and baked goods.
  • Collaborate with the team to experiment with new recipes and seasonal treats.
  • Uphold food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements:

· Certificate III level qualification.

· Previous experience in a patisserie or food production setting preferred.

· Knowledge of baking techniques and equipment.

· Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.

· Strong attention to detail and quality.

· Strong time management and multitasking skills, especially in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.


Bakery Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Research, develop, and test new bread and bakery products.
  • Create unique and innovative recipes with a focus on quality and flavor.
  • Manage fermentation, mixing, and baking processes with precision and creativity.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to introduce seasonal and specialty bakery items.
  • Provide input on product improvement and menu development.

Requirements:

· Certificate III level qualification.

· Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment preferred.

· Strong knowledge of bread-making techniques, fermentation, and baking equipment.

· Demonstrated ability in recipe development and product innovation.

· Strong time management and organizational skills.

· Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

· Passion for creativity, quality, and continuous improvement.
