Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the community while growing your career in local government? City of Newcastle (CN) is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Rates Valuation Officer to join our dynamic Rates team and help shape the future of our rating and valuation services.

As the Rates Valuation Officer, you will be at the heart of our revenue operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient levying of rates and charges. Your work will directly support vital community services and infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing processes that maximise supplementary rate and charges income, including ordinary rates, special rates, waste and stormwater charges and Hunter Catchment contributions. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes for the community.
