What does the job look like?
Step into a Territory Manager role on a 12-month max term contract, supporting a major national online retail program across NSW and ACT. You'll own day-to-day operations, customer relationships, and safety outcomes throughout your territory. You set the cadence for service, cost, and people performance to meet daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs. You turn complex peak-period demand into reliable execution through disciplined planning, clear communication, and on-the-ground leadership. Key areas:
- Lead a visible safety culture and ensure compliance with programs such as Green Fox, Vision Zero, and Stop for Safety.
- Manage daily operations, including resource allocation and fleet performance, to keep services on-schedule.
- Deliver profitability and cost outcomes against KPI targets through disciplined planning and continuous improvement.
- Build strong customer relationships through regular site visits, proactive issue resolution, and clear reporting.
- Coach and develop frontline teams with ongoing training, feedback, performance management, and succession planning.
- Coordinate subcontractors, capacity reviews, peak-period plans, and fleet readiness to meet demand.
Are you the one?
You thrive in fast-moving, customer-facing operations and balance service quality, safety, and commercial results. You influence across internal teams and external partners to turn plans into reliable daily execution. You can demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a similar territory/operations or customer-service role within logistics, transport, or related industries.
- A track record delivering KPI and cost targets while maintaining high service standards.
- Strength in capacity planning, fleet readiness, and peak-period execution across multiple sites.
- Confidence leading teams: coaching, performance management, and structured development pathways.
- Skill in customer engagement: regular visits, clear progress updates, and on-time reporting to agreed formats.
- Commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement.
What's in it for me?
- 12 weeks paid parental leave and return to work bonus for eligible employees
- Career development opportunities and mentoring programs
- Access to a range of benefits across dining and adventure, travel and health and well-being
- The chance to work in a high-performing team where your contributions truly make an impact
