Senior Front-End Developer

WHO ARE YOU?

You are an experienced and motivated Front-End Developer with at least 5 years' experience working in a similar role, preferably at an agency like ours.

You bring strong expertise across a range of Front-End technologies including HTML5 and Javascript Frameworks. Your attention to detail and proven track record allows you to develop code to the highest standard.

You enjoy contributing to the overall solution design for a project, and working collaboratively with other Developers and Subject Matter Experts from the onset to ensure the best possible outcome for the client.

WHAT'S THE ROLE?

Front End Developers at Revium are responsible for delivering best in breed digital solutions.

The Senior Front-end Developer works closely with all teams including front-end developers, account managers, project managers, business analysts, CX, back-end developers and the client to make sure that the front-end brief for the project is implemented to both Revium and industry best practice standards and ultimately the client's satisfaction.

They also carry a shared responsibility for the quality and cost-effectiveness of the projects which they are assigned to.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Act as a technical advisor during client interactions, offering solutions and recommendations to address their challenges.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and insights into front-end development methodologies, tools and coding patterns.
  • Be able to contribute to code reviews and uphold coding standards set by the team.
  • Be proactive in helping to direct the solution design for projects with a focus on providing excellent outcomes for the client
  • Lead by example – in code quality, adherence to high standards, work ethic and passion for your role

Expected tasks:

  • Develop exceptional front-end code using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like VueJS, ReactJS, and Angular.
  • Prototype HTML pages and AI applications using frameworks and APIs such as Langchain and OpenAI.
  • Interact with internal and external APIs, ensuring seamless data integration and workflow.
  • Ensure high attention to detail on the visual aspects and performance of front-end development.
  • Implement OWASP security standards and develop code with SEO in mind.
  • Identify and address team efficiencies by suggesting and testing new processes and technologies.
  • Offer expert technical guidance and solutioning to clients, ensuring their technical requirements are met effectively.
  • Set up, document, and ensure compliance with front-end coding standards across the team.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and innovations, and work with leadership to integrate them into the business.
  • Contribute to the company knowledge base, conduct code reviews, and provide mentorship to other developers.

WHAT ARE WE IDEALLY LOOKING FOR?

  • At least 5 years' experience in a Front-End Development role
  • Current Australian resident that lives in Melbourne or surrounding suburbs.
  • Experience working in a comparative role in a digital agency (preferred)
  • Great knowledge and experience with front end development including: HTML5 / CSS3 or SCSS / Node / JavaScript and Javascript Frameworks (VueJS, ReactJS, Angular, etc)
  • Has high attention to detail on the visual aspects of front-end development
  • Pro-active, self-motivated and reliable
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
