l-time Senior Accountant. T

he role has hybrid work flexibility, allowing you to work from home up to 2 days a week. You'll join a collaborative, growth-driven team of over 10 located in Cremorne, Melbourne.

Compensation for this role is $100,000–$120,000 AUD with flexibility for a standout candidate.

About You

You are passionate about finance in the e-commerce space and are driven to continue to develop and establish a best-in-class financial framework that supports growth and profitability.

Core Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    :

Owning the month end process, you will continue to develop the month end process and automation of m

onthly and quarterly report reporting, reconciling financial accounts, along with KPI tracking in the context of eCommerce (e.g., customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, churn rate, and average order value)
- Cash Flow Management
:

Manage accounts payable and receivable to optimise cash flow, balancing supplier payments with sales forecasting
- Forecasting & Budgeting:

Working with marketing to forecast sales volume on a SKU and regional level based on customer cohorts and subscription retention metrics
- Inventory & COGS Management:

Maintain accurate inventory values and identity areas of cost reduction
- Invoices, Payroll, Reconcile Transactions with Accountancy
:

Manage & process employee payroll, payment of invoices, work with outsourced accounting partner firm
- Tax Planning and Compliance
:

Assist with managing corporate and sales tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions with an outsourced accounting firm

Preferred Background & Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce
  • CPA/CA qualified
  • Experience with a physical inventory business, preferably eCommerce
  • Experience working cross functionally with other departments (e.g., marketing, supply chain)
  • Interest in health & longevity products is a plus
