Human Resources Operations Specialist

About the role: 
The HR/People Operations Specialist is an experienced People professional with a significant amount of experience providing support across the entire employee lifecycle and People process transformation. The role will work with a high degree of autonomy to provide People advisory and operational services to their assigned business units and projects on both routine and complex People operational and employee relations activities. This is a vital role being an advocate for continuous improvement within the team, actively embracing changes and taking ownership of complex processes.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
People Administration Support
- Manage operational tasks for the employee lifecycle relating to onboarding, offboarding, probation and internal changes including executing tasks in the HR platforms (Workday, Employment Hero, Enboarder) and background check portal (Sterling)
 - Draft letters of employment, variations to terms and conditions, confirmation of employment
 - Support the maintenance of the organisational charts through Visio
 - Support the submission of weekly reports for the wider People Team (HR "Opdate") and MBO Team (Movements tracker)
 
People Advisory Services
- Act as the primary point of contact for all leaders and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, programs and systems
 - Provide advice, guidance, support and coaching to leaders and employees on HR policies, procedures, guidelines, Fair Work Act, employment terms and conditions, and employment legislation
 - Act as an escalation point for the junior HR/People Operations Advisor, People Shared Services (SSC) Team in Malaysia, wider People Team, and other internal/external stakeholders for general and complex HR matters.
 
People Policy Management & Execution
- Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of People Policies, procedures and practices to align with legislation changes and execution of corporate policies and guidelines
 - Lead and develop the communication plans related to changes in HR policies and processes
 
People Projects & Initiatives
- Provide operational support to the wider People Team as required in implementing People Team projects and initiatives including but not limited to Annual Merit Increase (AMI), Promotions, Performance Reviews/IDP, SCI Survey, DEI, Wellbeing, L&OD.
 
About YOU:
- Bachelor degree in human resources, business administration or similar relevant field
 - 3-5 years of experience working in a similar People Operations Advisor role within a global organisation
