Want your chance to make a mark on a world-class, record-breaking event? We are hiring for a Signage & Wayfinding Project Manager to join our Commercial Team to deliver the Australian Open 2026. This is a full-time casual contract from the start of July until end of February.

As this is a seasonal event role, we require full availability and flexibility across the summer months, December - February. If you're ready to help us serve up real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role
Play a pivotal role in leading the design and delivery of user-centric wayfinding systems across a variety of environments. You will work from concept through to implementation and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of navigation solutions. In this role you will:

  • Conceptualise and develop innovative wayfinding systems tailored to various physical spaces
  • Lead projects end-to-end, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables to a high standard
  • Conduct site analyses, user research, and accessibility assessments to inform inclusive design outcomes
  • Create clear and engaging visual representations, including signage, maps, and graphics
  • Present wayfinding strategies to clients and stakeholders, clearly articulating design intent and benefits
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility codes and signage standards (including DDA standards)

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 5 years' experience in wayfinding design, ideally in architectural or urban environments
  • A relevant degree (e.g. Architecture, Graphic/Industrial Design) and a strong portfolio of wayfinding work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; Revit/BIM experience highly regarded
  • Strong spatial design, problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Solid grasp of wayfinding principles, typography, and design systems
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and confident stakeholder engagement
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
