OverviewHow you'll make an impact
As a Project Finance Specialist, you'll shape the financial success of AMP's transformation initiatives. You'll be the commercial conscience of the portfolio, partnering with value streams to ensure financial discipline, accuracy and strategic foresight. You'll build robust business cases, identify opportunities for cost optimisation, and influence smart investment decisions and financial outcomes. You'll also uplift portfolio finance capabilities, embed agile governance practices, and educate teams on financial processes and tools, turning finance into a strategic enabler.
Responsibilities- Partner with value streams to ensure financial discipline, accuracy and strategic foresight across AMP's transformation portfolio.
- Build robust business cases and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and smarter investment decisions.
- Uplift portfolio finance capabilities and embed agile governance practices.
- Educate teams on financial processes and tools to make finance a strategic enablement function.
- Seasoned finance professional with demonstrated project/PMO financial experience.
- Experience in Agile environments and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, transformation-focused setting.
- Sharp commercial acumen, high attention to detail, and the confidence to challenge the status quo.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders and drive outcomes.
- Proven ownership, teamwork, and willingness to lead change.
- Ability to adapt from BAU to the ambiguous with ease; commitment, grit and a growth mindset.
- Willingness to jump in and deliver across a variety of areas due to lean operations.
