You will be perfect for this role because of your:

  • Deep understanding of the fitout + refurbishment market and the people that operate within it.
  • Technical expertise, gained over at least 5 years on the job with knowledge of fitout and refurbishment project ranging between $1m - $8m.
  • Experience delivering variety of construction methods. A mindset geared toward mitigating commercial risk.
  • Knowledge of Design and Construct and what good/fit for purpose design looks like.
  • A strong safety culture - it is your top priority and is continuously improved.
  • A natural ability to attract and retain an effective project team.
  • A understanding of client's commercial outcomes and delivering a seamless experience.

Your role will include

  • Effective Project and Relationship management whilst leading Construction projects. This includes all stakeholders, prospective and existing clients, suppliers, staff, contractors and others
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Projects Team and site staff
  • Manage all aspects of the projects from inception to completion
  • Complete projects within time & budget constraints
  • Manage any changes to scope, project variations and defects
  • Lead, manage and deploy Project Management workflows such as contracts, HSEQ systems, document control and scheduling
  • Produce job report updates and forecasts. Lead team to achieve agreed budgets.
