We are looking for driven, hands-on Cyber Security Engineers to strengthen Microsoft 365 security by managing threat protection, data loss prevention, and access controls across cloud and endpoint environments. It supports governance through sensitivity labelling, Power Platform oversight, and secure Copilot deployment. The focus is on maximising E5 investment value through smart adoption, tool rationalisation, and clear reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and enhance Microsoft 365 security controls, including anti-phishing, Safe Links, Safe Attachments, Microsoft

Defender (Office 365 / Endpoint / Identity / Cloud Apps) and Conditional Access policy baselines and hygiene

Build and manage Microsoft Purview DLP policies across M365 workloads and support incident response processes.

Assist the Data Governance team with sensitivity labelling by configuring and maintaining labels and auto-labelling policies.

Secure M365 Copilot deployments by applying guardrails, validating data protection controls, and supporting readiness activities.

Maximise the value of our Microsoft 365 E5 security investment by adopting relevant capabilities, rationalising overlapping tools, and reporting utilisation and ROI through clear metrics.

Support Power Platform security governance through DLP policy configuration and remediation of security findings.

What you'll bring to NGM Group

3+ years' experience with Microsoft 365 security, including policy configuration, monitoring, and incident response.

Experience securing M365 Copilot deployments with data protection and governance controls.

Proficiency in Microsoft Purview DLP and Information Protection, including sensitivity labels and auto-labelling.

Knowledge of the Microsoft Defender suite under E5, including Defender for Office 365, Endpoint, Identity, and Cloud Apps.

Power Platform security experience, including DLP policies and environment governance. (optional)

Relevant Microsoft certifications such as SC‑400 (Information Protection), SC‑300 (Identity), SC‑200 (Security Operations), and MS‑102 (Administrator).
