The Role:
We are currently on the look-out for a passionate and experienced recruitment team leader who is well established in providing contract and shift nursing recruitment solutions, to support our aged care division.
You will be leading a collaborate team of 2 consultants, where you will all leverage off Verus People's established "preferred supplier" status, your team counterparts, plus a database of candidates to get you going quickly.
You will be joining and working alongside our knowledgeable and experienced recruitment professionals, keen to work with you. But your career pathway does not stop there - Verus has a structured pathway all the way to Director and offer the support, training and coaching to get you there.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment services for the placement of clinically qualified and compliant nurses for our client's contract aged care staffing requirements
- Establish a proactive, professional and long-lasting relationships with all existing and new candidates and clients to ensure the recruitment process is delivered efficiently
- Lead, mentor and work collaboratively with 2 amazing consultants to reach personal, team and financial goals
- Develop candidate acquisition strategies to maximise attracting the required quantity and quality of candidates through direct sourcing channels, advertising, headhunting, candidate referrals and networking opportunities
- Research and fully immerse yourself into becoming our aged care specialist
- Client and business development across existing, lapsed and prospect public and private clientele
- Partnership with candidates and clients to understand all their and needs
- Maintain a recruitment service that is second to none for all your stakeholders
You are or have:
- Self-motivated and aspire to a life that requires you to drive successful outcomes in the workplace
- The type of person that treats wait-staff the same as you treat your boss
- Passionate about the world of Healthcare Recruitment and have proven experience in this field
- Demonstrated and proven experience in contract nursing recruitment for aged care facilities
- Current team leadership experience, able to lead by example and be hands on
- Experienced in providing full 360 recruitment solutions
- Confident with business development and building relationships over the phone as well as in person
- Skilled in motivating your fellow teammates and cultivating a culture of comradery
- Amazing at building rapport, relationships and reputation
- A proactive person who prides themselves on finding their own solutions
- An outstanding communicator – both verbal and written
- Able to forge relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Authentic, genuine and care about your candidates, clients and colleagues
- Able to work in Australia with no work restrictions, with full working eligibility - Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Defacto, or eligible for sponsorship
