About the role

  • Design and develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases in consultation with business stakeholders and IT / project teams, to ensure complete and accurate reflection of system changes in the general ledger, in a manner that aligns with Allianz Australia standards, practices, and methodologies.
  • Assess impacts of new / changes to systems on Finance processes, Identify, design, and implement process optimisation opportunities to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and/or controllership.
  • Review the end-to-end data and process flow, identify inefficiencies, understand the impact of end-to-end changes on the General Ledger (GL) and present the results of the analyse and recommended solutions to Product Owner and relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and execute UAT Test Plans, test estimates, test completion reports and ensure proper and accurate documentation of UAT artefacts.
  • Proactively provide regular UAT progress statistics and reports to senior stakeholders.

About you

  • Professional accounting qualification (CA / CPA).
  • Significant (5 Years) testing experience and clear understanding of insurance general ledger.
  • Experience in process design and implementation and in planning and writing test documents.
  • Strong knowledge of the project lifecycle and the SDLC Deliverables and how they relate to Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audience at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
  • Pays high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and can quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
  • Strong analytical skills, reporting and problem-solving skills.

Please note this is a 6month fixed-term contract opportunity.
