Let's talk about the team:
The Resmed Investor Relations (IR) team is responsible for building and maintaining effective two-way communications between Resmed and the investment community, including shareholders and other institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and other financial stakeholders. This dialogue facilitates enhanced understanding and awareness of Resmed's strategy, financial performance, and long-term growth opportunities to ultimately achieve a fair valuation for the company.
The Financial Analyst, IR will work with the Senior Manager, IR to plan, develop, implement, and execute key aspects of Resmed's global investor relations program. This includes building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and establishing standards and processes for IR procedures.
Let's talk about the role:
- Support Sydney-based CFO during onsite/local time meetings/calls with analysts and investors. Organize and execute local office logistics, take notes during meetings/calls, and ensure accurate attendee lists are provided back to Senior Associate, IR for entry into IR CRM.
- Gather AUS market feedback and news on Resmed and broader medtech industry, as well as summarize any relevant AUS sell side research, and provide to Senior Manager, IR for inclusion in daily IR Update.
- Build relationships with Sydney-based Finance team members and serve as onsite ambassador for IR.
- Support the IR team in drafting responses to inquiries from analysts, investors, and the general public.
- Support the quarterly earnings process, including financial analysis, Q&A research, and preparation of additional materials as needed.
- Contribute to additional investor presentations as needed.
- Provide general project support for internal and external initiatives, projects, and events.
Let's talk about the you:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in IR, corporate finance, sell side, buy side, and/or investment banking.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation modeling.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite – especially Excel and Powerpoint – and verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- You're highly detail-oriented and organized, with an inclination to establish processes to bring standardization and efficiency.
- You're a proven collaborator who enjoys working across all levels and functions of the company and with external stakeholders.
- You are a multi-tasker who can prioritize and manage across multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- You're a self-starter who can anticipate needs, be resourceful, and has situational awareness in a dynamic setting.
- You have a strong financial acumen.
- You're a strategic thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in healthcare industry.
- Experience with third-party financial analysis and/or IR CRM tools.
