About the role:

We're seeking an experienced 
Account Manager
 to join our growing team. In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of ASX-listed and private company clients across sectors such as biotech, technology, energy and financial services. You'll be responsible for developing and executing communication programs that build market understanding and stakeholder trust.

You'll work closely with senior consultants and clients to:

  • Develop and implement investor and media relations strategies
  • Coordinate with media, analysts and investors to support profile-building and engagement
  • Manage client communications calendars, announcements and reporting timelines
  • Draft and edit ASX announcements, media releases, Q&As, investor updates, and presentations
  • Research and develop paid media strategies where relevant for clients
  • Monitor coverage and prepare media coverage reports
  • Proactively manage media related service providers – media monitoring, news wires and journalist database platforms to ensure optimal return on investment, service delivery and cost effectiveness.
  • Brief and advise company spokespeople in media engagement capabilities with regards to key message development and delivery
  • Create and execute digital communication strategies, including content planning and distribution across digital platforms (websites, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, email newsletters, etc.)
  • Support event delivery, including roadshows, investor briefings and conferences
  • Manage client relationships, project plans, budgets and invoicing

About you:

You're commercially minded, media-savvy, and thrive on telling complex stories in clear and compelling ways. You're comfortable working directly with executives and are confident managing multiple projects at once.

You will bring:

  • 3–6 years' experience in PR, communications, investor relations, or financial media (agency or in-house)
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to accuracy and tone
  • Solid understanding of capital markets and the ASX environment
  • Strong working relationships with key media outlets and journalists across Australia
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a strategic approach to media relations that supports a Company's reputation, clearly tells the investor story and builds the profiles of senior executives
  • Experience managing clients and delivering strategic communications programs - excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
  • You're a team player, and happy to use your skills to jump in and support the team with other jobs when times get busy, or you've got input that would be valuable to the projects we're working on
  • You're a great time manager and understand the importance of delivering a great result for clients while being time-efficient
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, business, or a related field
