We are looking for staff to join our teams- available shifts

  • Saturday & Sunday 11.30 am to 7.30pm

Flexibility to work outside of the above hours would be preferred but not essential

TWG is seeking an energetic & dynamic, hands-on chef to work as part of our great team at one of our Education Providers with extensive functions.

We are looking for a chef who has a thorough understanding of allergens to prepare the meals for the residential students experience with understanding allergens - these include anaphylaxis and lifestyle choices. Food is to be creative, contemporary and enjoyable. We require production of fantastic food and a willingness to work in a positive team environment.

Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will work as part of the team catering for breakfast, lunch & dinner when required for students along with assisting with functions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing contemporary, nutritious meals for students' day to day production of all kitchen requirements.
  • Ensuring only the very highest standards of food presentation & creativity
  • Adherence to Food safety Program

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Strong understanding of all aspects of menu planning disciplines
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Impeccable grooming standards
  • Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles

The option of having school breaks off is a possibility,

A current Working with Children's check is a requirement for this position
