DG Business Services is a boutique Chartered Accounting practice located in South Perth. About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Perform hands-on bookkeeping for a range of business clients
- Mentor and support a junior bookkeeper
- Co-ordinate bookkeeping workflow and job allocation within the team
- Prepare BAS, IAS, payroll and superannuation reports
- Reconcile accounts and assist accountants with year-end compliance
- Work closely with partners and accountants in a supportive practice environment
- Liaise directly with clients and respond to day-to-day queries
- Train and support clients in all things bookkeeping and cloud systems
- Travel to client premises on occasion — own car is required
This is primarily an on-site, in-house position based in our South Perth office, with flexible hours or occasional work-from-home days available for the right candidate.
About You
You will be a good fit for this role if you:
- Have a minimum of 3 years' bookkeeping experience (ideally within an accounting practice)
- Hold formal bookkeeping or accounting qualifications (Certificate IV, Diploma, or higher)
- Have strong working knowledge of Xero, Xero Practice Manager, MYOB and cloud-based tools
- Have excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Are a confident communicator who enjoys working directly with clients
- Work well as part of a collaborative team
- Have a genuine interest in accounting functions and ongoing professional growth
- Enjoy improving efficiencies and embracing new technology
- Hold a valid driver's licence and have your own vehicle for occasional client visits

- This is an on-site, in-house role based in South Perth
