THE OPPORTUNITY

As a bookkeeper your main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Weekly bookkeeping for multiple clients
  • Payroll management including potential indirect taxes (eg payroll tax) reporting
  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assist in preparation of BAS & IAS - monthly & quarterly
  • Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts (including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet)
  • Assist in processing of year-end adjustments
  • Assisting the Accountants as and when required

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL NEED:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Bookkeeping
  • Ideally experience working in an Australian public practice firm or have dealt with multiple clients
  • Excellent ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships
  • High level of written and verbal communication essential
  • Good team player that is capable of working with teams at all levels within the firm
  • Highest standards of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism
