Join a progressive Chartered Accounting Practice supporting a wide range of clients across different industries. We're expanding our team and looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who enjoys variety, thrives in a small-team environment, is keen to mentor a junior bookkeeper while also managing their own client portfolio and working alongside other bookkeepers.

About the Role

  • Hands-on bookkeeping for a range of business clients
  • Mentor and support a junior bookkeeper
  • Co-ordinate bookkeeping workflow and job allocation within the team
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, payroll, and superannuation reports
  • Reconcile accounts and assist accountants with year-end compliance
  • Work closely with partners and accountants in a supportive practice environment
  • Liaise directly with clients
  • Train and support clients in all things bookkeeping

About You

  • Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience (preferably in an accounting practice)
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero, Xero Practice Manager, MYOB and cloud-based tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Confident communicator and collaborative team member
  • A genuine interest in accounting functions and professional growth
  • You enjoy improving efficiencies and embracing new technology
