About The Role
Based in BYD's Melbourne office in Mulgrave, this role will support our
Product Planning
team for BYD and Denza Brand
.
On offer is a Senior Product Planning Specialist position and your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Lead the product planning process for new and existing vehicles.
  • Define product features, specifications, and positioning based on market needs and company objectives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between product offerings and customer expectations.
  • Market Analysis & Vehicle Lineup Strategy
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis, including identifying trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the vehicle lineup that maximize profitability and market share.
  • Monitor market performance, pricing, sales data, and feedback to adjust product strategies as needed.

Key Requirements

  • 5 years' experience in Product Planning, Product Management, or a related role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Australasia's automotive market trends, consumer needs, technologies and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency or similar Visa unrestricted working rights.
