Technical Lead – Fintech SaaS Platform

A rapidly expanding global technology company in the heart of the CBD is seeking a
Technical Lead
to drive the development of its next-generation SaaS platform. Operating across multiple regions including Australia, Europe and Asia this organisation is known for its innovation and commitment to engineering excellence.

This is a hands-on leadership role within a high-performing Product Delivery team, where you'll shape technical direction, mentor skilled developers, and deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to team reliability and operational support functions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to align solutions with strategic goals
  • Lead architecture and delivery of scalable, high-performance systems
  • Drive engineering best practices including clean code and automated testing
  • Mentor and develop technical capability across the engineering team
  • Ensure security, performance, and cost efficiency in system design
  • Champion customer-first principles and measurable, value-driven outcomes
  • Foster innovation, remove delivery blockers, and support continuous improvement

Technical Expertise

  • Hands-on experience with , , , and Jest for testing
  • Deep knowledge of MongoDB and NoSQL databases including indexing, data modelling, and performance tuning
  • Skilled in decomposing monolithic systems into scalable, microservice-based architectures
  • Proven ability to design responsive, intuitive interfaces grounded in modern UX/CX principles
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools to enhance workflow and code quality
