A leading, national design and project-based organisation is seeking a results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its Sydney office. With continued growth via mergers, acquisitions, and organic expansion, this role offers the opportunity to shape a high-impact talent function and employer brand within a thriving project environment.

Role Overview:

You will lead talent acquisition activities across project and permanent workforce needs. You will own recruitment campaigns, manage candidate pipelines, and build employer branding initiatives to attract high-calibre talent for a fast-paced, project-driven business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end recruitment for technical, design, and support roles.
  • Deliver workforce mobilisation and demobilisation across projects, ensuring timely talent deployment and resource management.
  • Craft and execute recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies.
  • Build long-term talent pools and proactive sourcing campaigns.
  • Enhance candidate experience through structured communication and professional engagement.
  • Support project leaders with tailored hiring solutions and workforce planning.

Key Criteria:

  • You LOVE recruitment
  • Demonstrated success recruiting in project-based design, engineering, architecture, or construction environments.
  • Experience with mobilisation/demobilisation processes and agile resource allocation for fluctuating project needs.
  • Proficiency using ATS and recruitment technologies.
  • Confident stakeholder manager with advanced influencing, networking, and engagement skills.
  • Creative approach to employer branding and recruitment marketing.
  • High level of adaptability and commercial acumen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in talent acquisition, ideally in project-led environments.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, HR, or related fields.
