EPMO Portfolio Coordinator

We are seeking a EMPO Portfolio Coordinator to provide vital operational support to our Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO). You will play a key role in supporting our projects from start to finish, with a focus on both Project Support and Project Assurance. This role is perfect for someone with an ability for process improvement, a commitment to quality, and a passion for supporting project teams.
As a core member of our EPMO team, you will:
- Coordinate Project Lifecycles: Guide projects through the initiation process, lead system setups, and support the onboarding of new project teams.
- Enhance Project Quality: Conduct quality assurance reviews, evaluate project reports and artifacts, and ensure projects adhere to our established methodologies and governance standards. You'll also provide training and guidance to project teams to reinforce compliance.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement initiatives to refine our governance frameworks, reporting standards, and best practices.
- Provide Expert Support: Manage project service requests, maintain our portfolio management applications, and assist with reporting and assurance activities to support executive decision-making.
The ideal person will have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with both senior leaders and project teams, with at least 2 years of experience in an EPMO, PMO, or a project management support role or equivalent other relevant business experience.
You will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a talent for thinking laterally to find solutions, and be proficient in data analysis and reporting. Strong computer literacy in the Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel and various databases is essential, along with exceptional organisational and time management abilities. Experience with Planview PPM, Tempus and Oracle would be beneficial.
