
Service Technician Newcastle/ Hunter

Civcon Water Services is the largest Waste water service company in NSW and have a position for a Waste Water Technician required to conduct services, breakdowns in accordance to local Council regulations. Previous experience with various certificates is not a must as training will be provided for the successful applicant, however it is an advantage.
Roster will be discussed at time of interview, flexible hours are based with the daily schedule between 7am - 4pm weekdays, with a rotational weekend roster (approx every 9 weeks)
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Service onsite waste water system
- Customer service (including Problem solving, inspection and repairs)
- Communicate any concerns and charges to Customer.
- Assist other team members
- Stock control, Reporting and general house keeping
Skills and experience
- A car licence is a requirement
- Previous Waste water or irrigation or pump repair experience is not a requirement as training is provided but it is valued.
- Basic data recording for work completed onsite is helpful.

This role may also include Deliveries of various products as well as installing Irrigation, pumps, filtration.
Onsite Waste Water Systems are primarily used in rural areas that aren't connected to municipal sewage systems, septic tanks collect and treat sewage before releasing it back to the environment. Septic tank technicians maintain septic tanks and systems by ensuring they operate correctly on a quarterly schedule.
Depending on skill level and approach to position the successful applicant, may in addition to being a service technician assist to install new water tanks and septic systems.
Fully equipped vehicle and phone provided. Ongoing training will also be offered depending on skill level.
