We're looking for a
driven and creative Business Development Manager
to take ownership of this fast-growing portfolio across
Australia and New Zealand
.

This is a
real initiative-based position
— ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. You'll shape how these brands grow locally, driving both
sales and brand awareness
through demos, partnerships, and marketing activations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development and sales for AWAKE, LIND Surf, and ASTenders.
  • Convert inbound leads and drive new partnerships with marinas, resorts, yacht dealers, and luxury brands.
  • Plan and execute demos, on-water activations, and customer experiences.
  • Assist in launching the
    AWAKE Academy
    — a training and demo platform for electric boards.
  • Manage regulatory compliance for electric surfboards and tenders in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Collaborate on brand marketing, event planning, and content creation to build visibility and awareness.
  • Represent the brands at trade shows, launches, and dealer presentations.

About You

  • Background in
    marine, water sports, or lifestyle products
    is an advantage.
  • Confident on the water — capable of demonstrating products professionally and safely.
  • Commercially minded with a
    keen interest in marketing, branding, and brand storytelling
    .
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and proactive — a natural builder and problem solver.
  • Excellent communicator with strong relationship and organisational skills.
