The role

This is a rare opportunity to step into a blank page role and shape the marketing function at Furō from the ground up. As our Marketing Specialist, you'll have the freedom and responsibility to design, build, and execute campaigns that position Furō as the go-to experts in DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, and Data.

You'll be hands-on in everything from planning and creating content, to launching initiatives, amplifying our brand, and measuring impact. Your work will directly shape how the market sees Furō, strengthening our reputation as a trusted partner and ensuring our voice cuts through the noise.

This role is Part-time, 24 hours a week across 4 days (6 hours per day).  

Job Responsibilities

Content Development

  • Create compelling content for blogs, case studies, and technical articles showcasing Furō's expertise and services.
  • Coordinate client success stories and case studies to demonstrate the value of Furō's consultancy.

Website Management & SEO

  • Update and optimise Furō's website with fresh content, portfolio examples, client testimonials, and service updates.
  • Ensure SEO best practices for all content to drive organic traffic using relevant technical and consultancy keywords.

Social Media & Community Management

  • Manage Furō's social media (e.g., LinkedIn) by posting updates, engaging with followers, and building brand presence.
  • Support PR efforts by connecting with media outlets, influencers, and industry contacts to enhance brand awareness and secure coverage.

Sales & Marketing Collateral

  • Develop sales support materials such as decks and product sheets.
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with Furō's branding and messaging guidelines.
  • Collaborate with partners for co-branded events to increase exposure and mutual engagement.

Campaign Management & Analytics

  • Oversee marketing projects from concept to completion, managing deadlines and budgets.
  • Track and analyse campaign performance with tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and social media insights.
  • Evaluate and report on marketing ROI, recommending improvements based on analytics.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with Furō's technical experts to translate complex services into accessible marketing content.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors (e.g., design agencies, freelance writers) to support campaigns and ensure deliverables.
  • Organise marketing meetings, prepare agendas, and track action items

Insights & Analytics

  • Oversee the CRM system (currently HubSpot) to track leads, sales activities, and monitor marketing performance
  • Monitor industry trends, new technologies, and competitor activities to strategically position Furō's consultancy services.

What you'll need:

  • Formal qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or related field – or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Proven B2B marketing experience, ideally in professional services, SaaS, or IT.
  • End-to-end campaign management across digital, content, and events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex technical topics into engaging content.
  • Hands-on with LinkedIn, CMS platforms, and marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics).
  • Experience planning and delivering events (online and in-person) with strong project management skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
  • Confident analysing performance data and turning insights into action.
  • Comfortable building structure in a blank-page role, and adaptable in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
