About the opportunity

Based at our Port Macquarie office you will report to the General Manager and be a key member of our Mid North Coast team. In this highly rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing day to day support and leadership to our small team consisting of drafting, project delivery, estimating and administrators. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage effective and efficient pre-construction workflow
  • Lead, motivate and coach team members to develop technical and soft skills
  • Ensure the team are reforecasting projects daily to allow for accurate reporting
  • Drive performance towards achieving team and business objectives
  • Review operational reports and metrics to execute the strategic business plans, 120 days plans and other goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including developers, and councils to resolve issues impacting projects
  • Build solid relationship with cross functional teams including sales and construction to identify opportunities

About you

You will share a passion for our purpose to be Australia's leading residential builder and be aligned to our core values (Think Bigger, People Matter, Better Together and Be Accountable). In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience leading teams and day to day operations
  • The ability to ensure exceptional customer experiences and work closely with clients to negotiate positive project outcomes
  • Foresight and a strategic focus, with effective decision making
  • Residential construction experience or knowledge in project delivery, customer support and operations – highly desirable
  • Understanding of building regulations and codes.
