About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Workshop Foreman to join our team. As the Workshop Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art diesel and construction workshop, ensuring the efficient and effective completion of all servicing and repair work. This is a full-time role that offers a competitive salary and a range of fantastic benefits.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee the operations of the workshop, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating all servicing and repair work
- Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and in a timely manner
- Perform maintenance, service and repairs
- Supervise and provide guidance to a team of technicians
- Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards
- Contribute to the overall growth and development of the business by identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Workshop Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the automotive industry
- Excellent technical knowledge and hands-on experience with a wide range of servicing and repair procedures
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Familiarity with industry regulations and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
