Priority Worldwide Services is seeking a Licensed Customs Broker to join our growing Sydney team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about compliance, customer service, and teamwork.

What You'll Do

As a Licensed Customs Broker, you'll play a pivotal role in the daily operations of our import department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely service. Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and managing import shipments from start to finish
  • Accurately processing customs entries in CargoWise
  • Classifying goods, preparing entries, and ensuring timely clearance
  • Handling carnets, licenses, tariff concessions, refunds, and duty drawbacks
  • Performing customs declaration audits and ensuring compliance with ABF, AQIS/DAWE, and ITAR regulations
  • Supporting customers and internal teams with duty classifications and regulatory requirements
  • Actively participating in team meetings and fostering a culture of continuous learning
     
What We're Looking For
  • Current Australian Border Force (ABF) Licensed Customs Broker with AQIS/DAWE accreditation-Requirement  
  • Commitment to maintaining CPD points
  • Proven experience with CargoWise One
  • Strong knowledge of customs tariffs, valuation, and free trade agreements
  • Ability to apply for concessions, process payments, and prepare refunds/duty drawbacks
  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse clients and cultures
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to a fast-changing logistics environment

Benefits and Compensation 

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons 

  • Salary: AUD 110,000 – AUD 150,000 annually, depending on experience
