About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Assistant Accountant with a focus on Accounts Receivable to manage daily finance functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate daily bank receipts and release credit holds
  • Handle AR and AP queries from customers and suppliers
  • Process AP invoices and supplier payments
  • Perform weekly bank and sales reconciliations
  • Conduct month-end reconciliations and reporting
  • Send statements of account and follow up on overdue invoices
  • Manage customer credit applications and stock count postings
  • Support the team with various ad hoc financial tasks
  • Proficiency in accounting software systems is essential

Skills & Attributes:

  • Good organisation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to have limitless exposure
  • Commercial acumen is a plus

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Prior experience in AR/AP or a similar finance function preferred
  • Positive attitude is a must – we'll support your growth
  • 1-2 years of AR/AP experience is required
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required
