About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, the Executive General Manager – Work will lead an expansive portfolio dedicated to delivering sustainable, meaningful employment pathways for people with disability.

You will oversee major services including Supported Employment, Supported Hosted Employment, Inclusive Employment Australia, Workforce Australia programs, and Apprenticeships and Traineeships. These services play a vital role in supporting independence, social inclusion, skill development and long-term employment outcomes.

This role demands a strategic, commercially minded, and values-driven leader who can influence at all levels and guide complex operations with clarity, confidence and purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Shape and deliver divisional strategy aligned to organisational goals.
  • Lead transformation of the employment services portfolio to ensure contemporary, person-centred and sustainable outcomes.
  • Develop business models and workforce strategies aligned with NDIS and customer needs.

Customer & Stakeholder Impact

  • Grow Business Solutions offerings, including recycling and e-waste services.
  • Build strong partnerships with commercial customers, government and service partners.
  • Drive customer satisfaction, retention and growth through innovative, customer-centred approaches.
  • Ensure meaningful engagement with families, carers, guardians and other key stakeholders.

People Leadership

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing and values-driven culture.
  • Lead, coach and develop leaders to build capability, engagement and performance.
  • Model best practice in safety, inclusion, change leadership and governance.

Operational Excellence

  • Position Endeavour Foundation as a leader in both commercial operations and employment services.
  • Identify growth opportunities, operational efficiencies and market trends to enhance service quality and commercial performance.
  • Ensure effective governance, compliance, risk management and quality systems.

Financial Sustainability

  • Drive financial performance across sales, funding, billing and operational expenditure.
  • Lead financial modelling, ratio optimisation and strategic business planning.
  • Provide clear reporting and forecasting to the Executive Leadership Team and Board.
  • Ensure long-term financial viability through sound fiscal management.

What You Bring

Capabilities & Experience

  • A proven senior executive with success leading large, complex operations – ideally in manufacturing, production, employment services or related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead transformation, manage complexity and deliver strong commercial outcomes.
  • Deep experience in managing geographically dispersed teams and complex programs.
  • Strong stakeholder influence at executive and board levels.
  • Experience navigating compliance frameworks, quality systems, and risk environments.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strength in aligning organisational design, operational effectiveness and quality with strategy.
