About the role
As the Chief Finance Officer within the Boundary Creek Group, you will play a vital role in overseeing the company's financial operations and contributing to its strategic direction. This full-time position is located in Wallaville, Queensland and offers an exciting opportunity to lead the finance function within a thriving organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the group's business objectives
- Manage the group's financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to inform decision-making at the executive level
- Contribute to the overall strategic planning and decision-making processes of the organisation
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, and implement appropriate controls and policies
What we're looking for
- Proven track record as a Chief Financial Officer or senior finance executive, with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a professional accounting qualification (CPA or CA)
- Extensive knowledge of financial management, reporting, and compliance within the accounting industry
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to align financial strategies with the group's overall business objectives
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
