We're looking for a capable and detail-focused Accounts/Finance Officer to support our finance function. This is a hands-on role in a small, collaborative team where your contribution will be valued from day one.

VDI Australia Group of Companies have been the sole national distributor for Yutong buses since 2018, specialising in distributing Yutong buses, luxury coaches and their parts to a wide range of businesses and industries across Australia.  At the forefront of the industries transition to zero emission buses, we are incredibly proud of, and passionate about the extension range of vehicles we offer.

Despite rapid growth during this period, we remain an Australian owned and family operated with branches now located in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Cairns.

Due to the consistent growth in our Eagle Farm QLD branch, we have an opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified Accounts/Financce Officer to join our team. The role will answer to the Chief Financial Officer.

Some of the duties will be but are not limited to-


• Managing accounts payable: processing invoices, matching purchase orders, reconciling supplier accounts, and preparing payment runs


• Overseeing accounts receivable: issuing invoices, receipting payments, resolving queries, and following up on overdue accounts


• Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations


• Supporting month-end close and assisting with financial reporting and reconciliations


• Providing general finance administration and ad hoc support to the broader team

We are looking for someone who –


• Has experience in a similar Accounts Officer or Finance Officer role


• Is confident working across AP, AR, and reconciliations


• Has strong attention to detail and takes ownership of their work


• Enjoys working in a close-knit, supportive team


• Communicates clearly and brings a positive, can-do attitude


• Holds a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping (preferred but not essential)
