About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for working with Partners and senior consultants to drive sales through excellent sales support including: pipeline management; bid and proposal development; panel management; collateral development; and contract management. The role involves leadership of a small but skilled bid/proposal writing team. This is a Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Support: Collaborate with partners and senior consultants to develop and execute sales strategies, identify new opportunities, and support the CEO in growing the business.
- Bid Management: Lead and manage the creation, submission, and tracking of bids, ensuring alignment with company standards and deadlines.
- CRM Management: Oversee the CRM system to track sales activity, opportunities, and customer interactions, providing insights and performance reports.
- Collateral Management: Build and maintain a strong library of world class sales and marketing collateral.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all sales materials and communications are consistent with company branding, working with the marketing team to maintain a unified message.
- Contract Management: Ensuring that contract risk is noted and managed as appropriate. This includes reviews of client contracts to initiate work at the end of the sales process.
- Panel Management: Management our engagement with customers who have us on their panels e.g. applying for new panels, panel categories, or panel refreshes.
- Proactivity & Time Management: Manage multiple priorities efficiently, driving initiatives and ensuring deadlines are met with strong attention to detail.
About You
- Experience in either:Sales management for a professional services firm; OR
- Consulting experience but wishing to focus more on first rate sales processes.
- Experience in bid management and proposal writing.
- Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- A proactive, "get things done" attitude with a focus on delivering results.
