With tender levels at an all-time high, our established client is looking for an Estimator to join the team pricing commercial jobs up to $20M.

Our client promotes teamwork, having fun and share the common goal of succeeding together.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Maintain, qualify and liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Preparation of sub-contractor bid packages
  • Compare and analyse sub-contractor pricing
  • Develop new sub-contractor relationships
  • Update and maintain estimating software, specifically Cubit
  • Strong understanding of the full scope for all trades
  • Collaborate with Projects Team and directors to ensure tender submission and final costing in line with deadline

Required Experience:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
  • Experience in all aspects of tender submissions, especially for complexed commercial builds
  • Track Record of delivering detailed Cost Plans and Tenders with minimal guidance
  • Strong knowledge in developing extensive methodologies related to tender submissions
  • Cubit software exposure preferred
  • 4+ Years in a similar role pricing builds up to $20M in QLD for a head contractor
  • Transitioning from Sub-contractor side would be considered
  • Loyal working history
  • Confidence in liaising with Sub-contractors, directors and project team
  • Strong organisation and being able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
