About the Role

As a Building Optimisation Engineer, you'll play a key role in helping customers achieve tangible sustainability outcomes across a wide range of buildings and real estate operations. You'll work on projects that deliver both environmental and business value, using data-driven insights to improve performance and efficiency across large building portfolios.

What You'll Do

  • Empower our clients:
     Monitor building performance data, analyse trends, and report operational insights to drive better decision-making.
  • Cultivate strong relationships:
     Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver and expand building optimisation services, acting as the primary client-facing engineer for assigned projects.
  • Promote sustainability:
     Develop and implement strategies to reduce energy and water consumption, carbon emissions, and overall environmental impact.
  • Drive continuous improvement:
     Develop and refine algorithms and analytics tools to optimise performance and stay at the forefront of sustainability and building technology.

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about sustainability, technology, and data-driven solutions. You will ideally have:

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sustainability, Energy or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience working with HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), IT networking, or energy management.
  • Strong analytical and data processing skills, with a keen interest in using data to solve complex building performance challenges.
  • A passion for helping customers reduce their environmental impact while improving health, comfort, and safety for building occupants.
