Popology is an award winning integrated creative agency specialising in experiences and live events. We are a fast growing team with offices in Sydney and Melbourne and we work with a broad range of clients across many industries (from tech to beauty and everything in between) so no two days are the same at Pop. The team is made up of passionate, dedicated and highly collaborative group of creatives, designers and producers who equally love the hustle and a drink on Friday afternoons.

Please note - this is not a remote role, the applicant must be able to join us in our Surry Hills studio 3 times a week.

Job Summary

With a natural and genuine passion for design and contemporary culture and a record of conceptual thinking to create memorable brand experiences, you will be a talented, creative problem solver.

This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling, consumer insights and experiential design. You'll be creating 3D brand worlds, translating client goals into compelling experiences. Reporting to the Creative Director, you'll also collaborate closely with designers, producers and clients to craft immersive activations.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct research on industry trends, cultural insights and consumer behaviour to inform strategic design direction
  • Develop and pitch creative concepts that integrate physical and digital experiences, storytelling, and innovative design solutions.
  • Confidently design 360 brand environments & experiences - a narrative and concept that reaches all core touchpoints whether physical or digital
  • Craft presentations and pitch decks that communicate ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into a physical space with clear, compelling narratives.
  • Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure alignment in execution

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of agency experience
  • Conceptual thinker
  • Knowledge of industry trends and engagement pieces
  • An expert creative eye, with the skills to generate engaging narrative and creative concepts to help reinforce brand messages or strategic goals
  • Proven experience designing immersive environments

Skills & Responsibilities

  • Expert knowledge of SketchUp or Cinema 4D, as well as Adobe Suite
  • CGI or motion graphics skills a bonus
  • Researching from diverse sources, including current and future industry trends to pull together inspiring references that inform project direction.
  • Confident presenting to client and internal stakeholders
  • An understanding of a range of materials, fabrication and assembly processes
