Darwin | Full-Time | Mid-Level | Flexible Work Options
Agentur is on the lookout for a confident and capable Conference Coordinator to join our Darwin-based team and help deliver industry-leading events across Australia.
We're a creative event management company and professional conference organiser (PCO), renowned for producing extraordinary events that inspire, connect, and elevate industries. We work across a diverse portfolio of association, government, and corporate events—always with purpose, passion, and precision.
If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love logistics, and are driven to create exceptional experiences, this role could be your next big move.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll manage the end-to-end delivery of conferences (300–1500 delegates), ensuring exceptional client and delegate experiences from concept to delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing full-cycle event coordination, including logistics, stakeholder liaison, program development, and delegate services
- Overseeing timelines, budgets, registrations, suppliers, and venues
- Coordinating communications with committees, venues, speakers, and sponsors
- Supporting scientific program and abstract submissions
- Leading onsite event delivery and managing post-event wrap-up
- Acting as the key contact for clients and stakeholders
- Mentoring junior team members (as appropriate)
- Using EventsAir (or similar platforms) to manage event tech, reporting, and communications
What You Bring
We're after someone who's got the skills, attitude, and energy to thrive in a dynamic events environment.
You're a great fit if you:
- Have 2+ years' experience in conference or event coordination, ideally within a PCO or association context
- Understand how association conferences work
- Have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing deadlines
- Communicate clearly and confidently—both written and verbal
- Are confident with MS Office, EventsAir (or similar), CRMs, and project tools
- Thrive in a collaborative team but can also work independently and take initiative
- Have an eye for detail and a head for budgets
- Are proactive, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure
- Hold a qualification in Event Management or related field
- Are willing to travel interstate as required
- Are available to work after hours when required to meet event schedules and deadlines
- Hold a current Australian driver's licence
What We Offer
At Agentur, we believe in delivering bold, brilliant experiences—starting with our own team. Here's what you can expect:
- A vibrant and ambitious culture that values fun, creativity, and connection
- Flexible working arrangements to support your lifestyle
- Career progression opportunities with leadership support
- A place in a tight-knit team that celebrates wins (and learns fast)
- Exposure to high-profile, purpose-driven events
- A voice at the table—we value ideas, initiative, and innovation
The Agentur Fit
We're not your average agency. We push boundaries, love a challenge, and believe in creating work that matters.
You'll succeed here if you:
- Put people and purpose at the heart of your work
- Stay cool under pressure and thrive in the unexpected
- Believe that details matter and excellence is the baseline
- Love collaborating, learning, and evolving
- Bring energy, ideas, and heart to everything you do
