We are seeking like-minded individuals to join our team here at W Churchill & Bar Lafayette.

At W Churchill & Bar Lafayette, we pride ourselves on providing our guests with exceptional culinary experiences. As such, we are seeking a highly skilled and creative chefs & kitchen hands to help us continue delivering outstanding food.

The ideal candidate for a chef will have:


• Experience working in a professional kitchen, with a proven track record of creating delicious, high-quality dishes.


• A passion for cooking and a keen eye for detail.


• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent standards of food preparation and presentation.


• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.


• A positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities for a chef will include:


• Developing and preparing menu items.


• Ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard.


• Maintaining an organised and clean kitchen.


• Ordering and managing inventory of ingredients and supplies.

Responsibilities for a kitchen hand will include:

  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and portioning ingredients.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and cleaning equipment.

  • Assist chefs during service by fetching ingredients, assembling dishes, and ensuring timely delivery to customers.

  • Handle basic kitchen duties such as stocking supplies, rotating inventory, and disposing of waste properly.

  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to uphold quality standards and meet customer expectations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen management.

Requirements for a kitchen hand:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and willingness to learn new tasks.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as needed.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
