Key Responsibilities:
As an MQE Level 3 you will be required to;
- Add value to the product line by performing the core functions of primary role i.e. MQE L3 position ( Per MQE Level 3 Position Description)
- Review and authorise planning for new projects and major mods (QAP)
- Review and authorise rework order planning (QAP)
- Raise, update and coordinate FAI for new projects and major MODS
- Review/authorise and coordinate FAI
- Perform / coordinate FAI inspection and raise Delta FAI's as required
- Monitoring, inspecting, reporting product and process compliance to requirements
- Perform level "Q" stamp inspection activities (including FAI) and surveillance monitoring of inspection and test equipment calibration
- Producing & Maintaining work/manufacturing instructions and rework work orders
- Develop, raise, and implement manufacturing and tooling plans for new projects and major mods.
- Create and maintain Quality Records (Quality System and Project specific)
- Raise NCR's and CAR's as required
- Plan, coordinate corrective actions and investigate process across product line requiring multi-discipline inputs and follow up of effectively
- Review and report technical data/records related to quality performance
- Participate in external and internal audits
- Assist and participate in the preparation of technical and performance data for program reviews and presentations.
- Provide broad technical support across Operations and liaise with other functional areas
- Technical training and development of other technical staff and team members.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Technical understanding and competence.
- Experience in QA requirements and knowledge of the MRB process flow
- Effective technical and non-technical communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence immediate and cross functional teams
- Assertive, self-motivated and capable of working with a high degree of initiative.
- Knowledge of the assembly manufacturing processes & procedures
- Demonstrated initiative and attention to detail
- Relevant trade, tertiary qualifications or equivalent
Classification Level:
- This position is open to internal BAA MQE Level 2.
- CLASSIFICATION LEVEL: EBA classification - Level 3 MQE 150%.( MQE 7)
- The successful candidates will be required to complete a 3 month probationary period
