Western Orthopaedic Clinic is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team in Murdoch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and manage the waiting room to ensure the smooth running of clinics
  • Accurate data entry and maintenance of the patient database with strong attention to detail
  • Manage communications including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling written correspondence
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Ensure the reception area is well-organised and presentable

Selection Criteria

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competent computer skills (MS Office essential; Genie experience highly regarded)
  • A strong customer service focus and professional manner
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Previous medical reception or administrative experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Must hold current Australian working rights

Hours of Work

The successful applicant must be available to work Tuesdays and Thursdays (8:30am–5:00pm), with flexibility to cover leave for other reception staff on Wednesdays and Fridays (half days).
