The Role
  • Exercise a considerable degree of independence and perform a subject matter expert role,
  • Exercise sound decision making and judgement to manage, and provide expert advice relating to CASG PM Function information management systems and tools,
  • Have in-depth knowledge of P&PM in a CASG/Defence environment and are responsible for the management, coordination, development, implementation, compliance and review of CASG PM Function's information and data,
  • Ensure effective and contemporary information, guidance and support is available to the broader workforce in order to meet Defence outcomes,
  • Be responsible for actively engaging with key stakeholders to ensure that P&PM information outcomes and impacts are well considered across CASG/Defence policy and data landscape.

  • Prior experience with CASG's Information Management systems and tools, particularly with Predict Risk Controller;
  • Ability to proactively, and effectively, engage, collaborate and sustain productive relationships with team members and external stakeholders;
  • Strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills;
  • Ability to develop and maintain Project Management data, policy documents and processes in accordance with agreed procedures and standards;
  • Understanding of, and compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence's mission and policy requirements;
  • Exercise sound decision making and judgement to provide expert policy advice;
  • Ability to lead and work effectively within a collaborative, small-team environment.
