Program Commercial Advisor Role

The role of the APS 6 Program Commercial Advisor is to provide strategic support to the EL 1 Commercial Manager in undertaking complex procurement and contracting activities. This involves meeting all commercial needs of the Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD) Program.

This requires highly skilled, knowledgeable, and experienced commercial professionals who can enable and risk-manage early industry engagement, market testing, contract formation, and contract management activities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

About the Role

The Program Commercial Advisor will be responsible for supporting the EL 1 Commercial Manager in performing various tasks related to the IAMD Program. These include:

  1. Supporting the EL 1 Commercial Manager in undertaking complex procurement and contracting activities;
  2. Meeting all commercial needs of the IAMD Program;
  3. Enabling and risk-managing early industry engagement, market testing, contract formation, and contract management activities.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. They will also be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Program Commercial Advisor will include:

  1. Providing strategic support to the EL 1 Commercial Manager in undertaking complex procurement and contracting activities;
