Tools Warehouse are seeking a Full-Time Retail Sales Representative for our Townsville store, who has a strong passion for sales & tools.

We are looking for an experienced retail sales representative that is committed to further developing their skills and knowledge, whilst providing an exceptional customer experience.

What will you be doing?

Based in a Townsville store, the key responsibilities of this Full Time position include but are not limited to:

  • Committed to delivering an engaging customer experience in your store and inspiring your team to as well
  • Developing strong product knowledge to assist customers in making the best product choice
  • Achieving and exceeding personal sales targets
  • Supporting other team members as required to ensure business goals are met
  • Contributing to the overall presentation of the store through merchandising, storeman warehousing duties & general housekeeping
  • Create a high performing & supportive team environment that embraces feedback, gives praise and shares success
  • Nurture a welcoming & fun environment for the team and customers
  • Contributing to the overall presentation of the store through merchandising, storeman warehousing duties & general housekeeping

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualities:

  • Previous experience in retail sales, team development & leadership is preferred but not essential
  • A creative approach to merchandising
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of the market & use product knowledge to maximise & drive sales
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to genuinely connect with your customers and provide an exceptional customer experience
  • An energetic, passionate & enthusiastic approach to all aspects of your job
  • Competency in POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • The ability to multi-task your work within a fast paced team environment
  • A strong attention to detail
  • A real team player & naturally competitive
  • Must be punctual, dedicated & have a willingness to be flexible to achieve store requirements
