About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled
Cloud Technology Architect
with proven expertise in
AWS, Azure, and automation testing
to join our team on a 6-month contract. The role involves leading cloud solution design, driving cloud adoption strategies, and ensuring automation and testing frameworks are embedded in the delivery lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have strong architecture experience across
multi-cloud environments
, a solid background in
automation frameworks and DevOps
, and the ability to partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement
    cloud architecture solutions
    across AWS and Azure platforms.
  • Develop and maintain
    cloud strategy, architecture blueprints, and roadmaps
    .
  • Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and testing teams to integrate
    automation testing frameworks
    .
  • Provide architectural guidance on
    cloud migration, integration, and modernization
    initiatives.
  • Ensure solutions are
    secure, compliant, cost-effective, and scalable
    .
  • Lead technical workshops and work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into cloud solutions.
  • Drive automation for
    infrastructure provisioning (IaC)
    , CI/CD pipelines, and testing.
  • Act as a
    technical advisor
    to project teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years
    in IT, with at least
    5 years in cloud architecture
    roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in
    AWS
    and
    Azure cloud services
    .
  • Proven experience in
    cloud solution design, architecture governance, and best practices
    .
  • Proficiency in
    automation testing frameworks
    (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    tools (Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with
    CI/CD pipelines
    (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Solid understanding of
    cloud networking, security, identity, monitoring, and cost optimization
    .
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g.,
    AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert
    ).
  • Experience in
    multi-cloud environments
    and hybrid cloud strategy.
  • Background in
    Agile/Scrum
    delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with
    containerization & orchestration
    (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS).
