Our hospital has 227 beds, 9 operating theatres, 2 cardiac catheter laboratories, a 17-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Day Oncology Unit, Breast Health Centre, Endoscopy Unit, Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit and a 24-hour, private emergency centre provided by Brisbane Northside Emergency. Our specialties include breast health, cancer care, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery and orthopaedics.

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Medical Receptionist
to join our Brisbane Northside Emergency team on a casual basis. You will be an integral part of the team that is passionate about making a difference to the lives of those you care for, while making a positive contribution to the overall standard of care delivered.

Things that work for us:

• Flexibility to integrate into a 24-hour roster, day/evening/night shifts is essential
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Medical Receptionist, or similar role.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
• An understanding of medical terminology preferable
• The ability to professionally liaise with colleagues, patients, visitors, and medical professionals.
• The ability to maintain a high level or of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively within a team environment.
