We are seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant to support our Admissions and Community Relations team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, managing social media, and bringing fresh ideas to digital marketing. You'll play a key role in showcasing our vibrant student community and ensuring that the College remains a destination of choice for tertiary students seeking accommodation in Perth.

This role would be suited to someone who is looking to launch their marketing and communications career. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

What you'll do:

• Plan, create, and schedule engaging social media content (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
• Maintain and update the College website to ensure content is current and user-friendly. (We'll show you how)
• Design marketing materials and digital assets using Canva and/or Adobe.
• Draft and distribute email newsletters to current residents and alumni.
• Capture and coordinate photo/video content from College events.
• Monitor and report on basic analytics (social media, email, website).
• Assist with event communications, printed materials, and merchandise.
• Assist in the coverage of the College reception, which will include assisting current residents.

What we're looking for:

• Experience creating content for social and digital media.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva and familiarity with WordPress or similar.
• Strong copywriting and design skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Basic knowledge of analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
• A desire to learn and get involved in a range of marketing projects.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Photography, video editing, or experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
• Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing trends.
