About the role

Join RDS as a Recent Graduate Civil Engineer and kick-start your career in a dynamic and hands on civil construction company. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in the delivery of civil engineering projects, working alongside an experienced team of professionals. As a new graduate, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge and advance in the civil engineering field.

What you'll be doing

  • On the job learning from a team of experienced professionals

  • Assisting with the design and development of civil and structural engineering solutions for a variety of projects

  • Conducting site inspections, technical analysis and feasibility studies
  • Preparing engineering drawings, reports, methodologies and documentation
  • Collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
  • Participating in project planning, scheduling and monitoring activities
  • Quality Assurance checks
  • Staying up-to-date with industry standards, regulations and best practice

What we're looking for

  • A recently completed degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Mangement (within the last 12 months or graduating 2025)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
  • A keen interest in the civil/structural engineering industry
  • Current driver's licence
  • Valid White Card or equivalent from other states.
  • Someone looking to work within a small - medium sized company and really learn the ins and outs of civil engineering.
