Job Vacancy: Part-Time Driver

The Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Canberra is seeking a reliable and responsible Part-Time Driver to join its local staff team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


• Driving Embassy staff and official visitors to meetings, events, and appointments


• Ensuring the safe and timely transportation of persons and documents


• Maintaining the Embassy vehicle in good condition (regular checks, cleanliness, service coordination)


• Keeping accurate records of trips (logbook) in line with Embassy instructions


• Assisting with deliveries, pick-ups, and other logistical tasks as required


• Supporting small administrative or maintenance tasks when requested (e.g. arranging minor repairs, purchasing supplies)


• Cooperating closely with Embassy staff to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements:

• Valid Australian driver's licence with a clean driving record


• Previous professional driving experience is an advantage


• Good knowledge of Canberra and surrounding areas


• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and discretion

Employment Details:


• Part-time position (approx. 20 hours per week, flexibility required)


• Employment under local conditions in accordance with Australian law


• Start date: by mutual agreement
