Joining our professional and award-winning bus-driving family as a Bus Driver, we can provide you with an exciting range of shifts, weekend opportunities and overnight trips. This opportunity is based at our main depot in Queanbeyan, it is an exciting and vibrant workplace, a microcosm of energy and movement – people, buses, and coaches for public transport and major events, festivals, sports, and recreational activities.

About you

CDC will consider a number of options as far as your skills and experience are concerned because we have plenty of work and lots of opportunities for you in Greater Canberra.

Here is a snapshot of some of what we need from you:

  • A current NSW driver's licence with a good driving record
  • Current MR or Higher Drivers licence
  • NSW Drivers Authority (DA) or ability to obtain one
  • NSW working with children check (WWCC) or the ability to obtain one
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration or ability to obtain one
  • Bus driving experience (Highly Desirable)
  • A professional and approachable manner, capable of interacting positively with a diverse range of customers of all ages and abilities.
  • A problem solver who can handle unexpected situations on the road
